SPONSORSHIP SALES MANAGER - LONDON, UK

We have a new, exciting opportunity in our Partnerships Division for a Sponsorship Sales Manager to be based in our London Office @ WeWork Waterloo with the option for flexible/hybrid working.

PHAR is a leading international sponsorship consultancy with over 100 staff across seven countries. Our clients include Transport for Greater Manchester, Transport for London, Transport for West Midlands, Manchester Airport, Trafford Manchester, Singapore Jewel Changi, Sydney Airport, LW Theatres, The Eden Project and Nextbike.

The successful candidate will be working on behalf of a host of exciting properties such as cycle hire schemes, world-class airports and leisure properties in sport and entertainment to develop and deliver long-term sponsorship activations. There is the potential for overseas travel and to work abroad full-time in the future if desired.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Proactive sales prospecting to generate meetings with potential sponsors for rights holder clients.

  • Day to day liaison and management of relationships with our rights holder clients, providing regular reporting and updates as required.

  • Management of the client pipeline, suggesting, developing and delivering a sales strategy for rights holder clients.

  • Develop and assist in creating best-in-class sales collateral.

  • Creative development of new sponsorship propositions for brands.

  • CRM usage and management.

About You

We are looking for a degree-educated professional with 2+ years’ experience in the sponsorship industry or from a sales background with some or all of the following traits:

  • Outgoing, motivated, confident and friendly

  • Excellent verbal/written communication

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills in particular Powerpoint

  • A creative and critical thinker that is both solution-minded and growth-minded

  • Knowledge or interest in sponsorship as a marketing discipline

  • A keenness to network and ability to develop strong and long-lasting client relationships
